I believe every person has a story, and that even the hardest parts of our stories can hold hope we can share with others.
My own story has taught me that life can be messy, painful, funny, and beautiful all at once. Through my writing and the work I do with others, I hope to create a place where people feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that even in the hard places, there is still hope.

Death Comes Knocking
Before I could form my first memory, my life nearly ended on a winding mountain road.
Years later, a teenage stranger's grip on my wrist would change the course of a frightening afternoon. Then came a horse, a hospital, and a midnight blood sugar crash that opened a door to an experience I still cannot fully explain.
Looking back, my life is marked by moments that should have ended differently. Yet they didn't.
You would think that after enough close calls, a person would become afraid to live. Instead, those moments taught me something unexpected: every breath is a gift, every day has purpose, and some stories are preserved for a reason.
This is the story of how I learned that mine was one of them.
