On Oct. 31st, join me at the historic "Hillcrest" Jephson Estate in Cazenovia for an afternoon of candy, conversation, and the launch of my memoir, DEATH COMES KNOCKING: STORIES OF FAITH, FEAR, AND THE GOD WHO ANSWERS FIRST.

Come explore our "Candy Kitchen", where you and your children can pick out favorite treats, and fill a sweets bag. And grown-ups, don't worry. You get a bag too. No questions asked, and we promise not to count how many peanut butter cups you take. (We know who you are.)

At 3:00 PM, pull up a chair and grab your candy.  I'll talk about how Death Comes Knocking came to be, from the first scribbled memory to the finished book, and then read one of the stories aloud.

Ten percent of every book sold goes directly to In My Father's Kitchen, the Syracuse nonprofit my husband John and I co-founded to serve people experiencing homelessness.
